This lake is fed by Moose River and Snyder Brook. It is a great place to take a walk or go for a swim. Near the lake there is a small park, a picnic area, and a place for the children to have fun. Across the street from the lake, is the Ravine House Site on Durand Road, identified with a historical marker.

I go to Durant pond all the time and I was wondering if it was good for fishing.
