This swimming pool is fed by the Peabody River. It is recommended to go there on a hot summer day because of the shade and cool mountain fed water. A favorite thing to do in this place is to jump from the tall rocks into cool and refreshing water of Emerald Pool.

Emerald Pool is located off the White Mountain Rd (Route 16). It is between the Mt. Washington Auto Road and Wildcat Mountain Ski Area. There are three scenic pull offs, but the one in the middle is where you will find this beautiful swimming hole. There are several paths that lead down to the pool, but they are somewhat steep.
